It's a wrap... in the Christmas windows of this bridal boutique

WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU? One more great paper gowns collection from the creative minds at Lea-Ann Belter Bridal, the designer of classy wedding gowns in Riverdale.

It has become a Christmas tradition of mine, an evening walk to their boutique at Dundas Street East and Broadview Avenue, to admire their latest follies.

Over the years, during Christmas time, they have traded satin, charmeuse, chiffon, organza, tulle, and lace for paper. The ball gowns come in all shapes: sheath, trumpet, mermaid, column, with puff sleeves, bell sleeves...

Once more, this year, I got to marvel at what they can do with wrapping paper. It's like the best DIY Pinterest post came to life! There's even a matching purse for one of the gowns!

When you look up close, it indeed is the kind of cheap Christmas wrapping paper one sees at Dollarama! They could have chosen any of the fancy (and sturdy) quality papers out there to make their life easier but year after year, they dare ripping their gown when putting the last touch to their creations. Living dangerously!
