If you want to be surrounded by beauty, Mount Pleasant Cemetery's picturesque stroll is for you. You won't feel like an intruder in this resting place, also a favourite amongst cyclists and joggers who use its winding paths. From the beginning (in 1876(, this cemetery was designed after the 19th Century tradition of rural cemeteries and intended as a place of recreation and contemplation.

Mount Pleasant features such a variety of trees that it qualifies as one of the biggest arboretums in Canada. No wonder the parklike cemetery is so splendid in the fall, especially on a bright sunny day.
