WALK 4

SLICK and shiny Toronto

MINDSET: When you feel like anchoring yourself in the 21st Century.

6,462 steps (4.2 km, 1 hr 05)

There was a time when there were only a few incentives to drag us east of Queen's Quay Terminal such as the point zero of Ontario's longest street (Yonge St) marked with engraved brass letters on the sidewalk and Redpath's whale mural. Then came Sugar Beach (with the pink umbrellas), followed by Sherbourne Common (with water sculptures and a canal redirecting treated water to the lake).

Now, there's a gorgeous tree-lined waterfront promenade with huge patio and a cluster of breathtaking luxury condos with public art to admire.
