bloc Walk 19 High Park Waterfowl Stroll

MINDSET: When you must reconnect with nature, because you've gone too long without.

6,770 steps (4.4 km, 1 hr 05)

On certain weekdays in the spring, when the Sakura trees are in full bloom in High Park, it feels like everyone has decided to play hooky. In summer, people sit and sip refreshments at the central patio after a leisurely stroll along Grenadier Pond to catch sight of swans and cranes. During the fall, dark branches contrasting against a flamboyant background are picture perfect. In winter time, careful walkers reach the path by the unfrozen part of the pond for a chance to observe a large raft of ducks probing the water.

All year-round and everyday, beauty abounds in this urban oasis.
