Ward's Island
DREAMY STROLL
WALK 1
URBAN COTTAGER

MINDSET: When you are craving connection with a source of awe.
8,155 steps (5.3 km, 1 hr 20)

As you walk along the carless streets of the most intriguing neighbourhood in Toronto, you’ll start to wonder how it would feel to leave the big city behind after a day’s work and return to the cocoon of your cottage-like home on Toronto Islands.
Most visitors stick to Ward’s but there are more residences to be seen on adjacent Algonquin Island. The secluded boardwalk on the south shore overlooks the expanse of glistening water. Enjoy a glass of wine on the patio of nearby The Riviera and your experience of an urban cottager’s lifestyle is complete.
